Lisbon is One of Europes' smallest capitals with a population of just 1 million inhabitants. Lisbon feels more like a small town than a major city. Nevertheless, it's a vibrant city with upbeat nightlife. Plus, its very compact city makes it very easy for any person to navigate. According to the 16tg century poet Luis vas de camoes. Portugal is the land on the edge. "Where land ends and sea begins".
This European city attracts plenty of tourists who come for the down to earth atmosphere of the place. It also has a sleepy vibe to it with a warm and relaxed weather similar to the vibe in Spain. It's because the land borders Spain although their languages are surprisingly very different. They do have the same language with Brazil even though it's located on another continent.
Taxi is relatively cheaper here compare to other European cities and one can also find cheap finds in one of their downtown shopping district which is Baixa.
There's plenty of things to discover in Lisbon, showcasing plenty of historical sites and touristy places. Backpackers love to travel here as it's cheaper and one can also find lots of cheap hotels around town.
I don't know why but I find other people's clothes hanging outside really amusing. Similar to what we usually have back in the Philippines.
