Hey! We are young, let's go crazy, let's have some fun!

Me and my girls went swimming at Xavier Estates Clubhouse, time for some girl bonding..
I also hosted a sleepover at my house and wanted this to be a memorable summer of fun, love and friendship. The pool fee was about P250 and we got to use their crazy slides!!..

It's been a while since Katrina, Tracy, Jorraine and me hang out together since I was always busy with school and I just didn't have the time to go out with them as often as we were in high school. Friendship is truly good for the soul, time to catch up with the latest intriga about people, had some laughs ang eating!

me, Kat, Jor and Tracy.
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends, pretty, and funny pa...

Tracy as beautiful as always..

Jorraine so sensual.. haha

Dakak Beach Resort at Dapitan

Dakak Beach resort is the perfect place for relaxation one could ever experience, with its beauty and serenity. It's located in Dapitan City part of the province of Zamboanga del Norte. By the time we arrived there, we were exhausted from the trip since we cam all the way from Zamboanga City. We were then greeted with smiling staffs and some complimentary drinks. So refreshing and so good!

We did not do much really, just lounging in the area with the twin room that we were staying, swimming in their pool and had one of the most embarrassing moments ever. When I felt that I just needed to discharge, the closest comfort room I could find was the ones near the pool, little did I know that there were certain toiled bowls that resemble the normal ones, which is specifically for urinal purposes only since there was not big hole. Just a bunch of small holes for the liquid to go through. I immediately used it and not looking at the appearance of the bowl, by the time I was finished. I noticed the whole structure of it was different. Too late! haha I immediately ran away with horror afraid that they would catch the culprit which is me by the way. Then I came back after one hour only to find the janitor making a commotion at the restrooms. I just heard from another woman about the incident (which is my fault by the way) and they just used a leaf to get the thing. Deep inside I was so guilty and at the same time wanting to burst out laughing. I know I shouldn't share this disgusting thing to you but if you mind, then don't read.

Tacloban City Tour

Before the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban, we were fortunate enough to have visited the place during a Pharmaceutical convention that my mom attended. While she was at the convention, we just roamed around the city, visiting the San Juanico Bridge as well as their St. Nino Museum. It was very hot and humid time and I just wanted to stay inside the car because of the weather and there was not much tourist spots their but it was nice to explore a new place once in a while.

The longest bridge in the Philippines..

"I shall return" the famous words of Gen. Mac Arthur..

Before and after the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda at the St. Nino Shrine filled with the antiques during the Marcos regime. It seems like the place was so chaotic with the picture at the right. I can just imagine the pungent smell in the area judging from the looks of that guy in white. It was a dreadful time of the whole country. :((

Swimming at the Hotel's rooftop swimming pool.. do I look like an angel now?!

White Water Rafting Adventure at Cagayan de Oro City

Group briefing before starting our adventure!

Nothing but a good water rafting adventure to pump up our adrenaline rush, also, it's perfect for family reunions and gatherings. We were a group of 20 all in all. It was only P700 per head inclusive of about 20 rapids but if you want a more advanced rafting adventure, you can opt for Rafting Adventure Philippine's P1000 per head inclusive of safety gears, free-pick up and a whole lot of fun. If you do wish to have lunch package then you can add an additional fee of P50. We were picked up at Carmen at around 8:00 am and started the adventure at around 10:00. While we waited for our turn (there were so many groups ahead of us), we visited the nearby caves and took pictures there as if we were spelunking. At the cave, you can see the whole view of the mountains of Cagayan de Oro City and it's river. Amazing view!

It was our first time doing this and boy was it one crazy ride. We were waving our paddles and shouting for our lives!! hahah.. my mother even fell off the raft and it looked so scary and exciting all at the same time.

We also had a break in between and had Pastel for our snacks. It was so yummy because I was so hungry. There was even a part of our adventure when we went through a small waterfall and our guide intentionally flipped over the raft and we went overboard for a while. It was definitely worth the money because they do such crazy tricks to add more fun and excitement to the whole activity and lastly, there was also a part where we went out of the raft and just went riding along the slow rapids (with life vests on). You should definitely give this a try if you want some adrenaline rush pumping through your veins. Super fun!

Me and my cousin Eme Grace, As you can see, I was still so much younger at the picture. That's because this happened 6 years ago!! hahah.. What a procrastinator but honestly, I really forgot I still had these pictures and I just thought that an adventure like this deserves to be immortalized in this blog forever! hhahah

Iligan with the family

Ever since I was little my mother's side family would usually go to Iligan to visit their swimming pools and waterfalls like Maria Cristina Falls, Timoga and Tinago were our family's favorite places for outing. Aside my mother's side relatives I also have my father's side where I have my cousins and half-brother and half-sister sister. You see, my family is quite complex and it has a long story so I'll save you the boredom of reading my family life. I decided to stay with them for a few days to bond and spend some time with them. Swimming was never absent during family outings.

My pretty niece with my brother's wife..

my lola and half-sister..

It was nice to spend some time with them since I was quite estranged from my father's side family for years.

Monster Kitchen Junior Masterchef

It was in the summer of 2012 and my mom enrolled me and my 3 sibs to Monster Kitchen's Junior Masterchef Cooking workshop for 1 whole week. It was such a delightful experience as it sparked the desire in me to cook and to be a pastry chef someday.

Although my classmates were kids, it was a whole lot of fun learning and cooking with them.

We even got to make at least 5 recipes per day and the experience was worth every penny.

At the end of every session, we got to have a pictorial with all the food that we made. yey!
as well as we also got to bring the delicious food that we made at home. How awesome is that?!

Pasta, Pizza, Cookies, Cupcakes, Cakes and Burgers were one of the few delicious food that we made taught to us by talented, skillful and credible chefs in the Philippines.

Their chefs were equally talented, amazing and super fun. Their recipes are really made from the heart.
