Before the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban, we were fortunate enough to have visited the place during a Pharmaceutical convention that my mom attended. While she was at the convention, we just roamed around the city, visiting the San Juanico Bridge as well as their St. Nino Museum. It was very hot and humid time and I just wanted to stay inside the car because of the weather and there was not much tourist spots their but it was nice to explore a new place once in a while.
The longest bridge in the Philippines..
"I shall return" the famous words of Gen. Mac Arthur..
Before and after the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda at the St. Nino Shrine filled with the antiques during the Marcos regime. It seems like the place was so chaotic with the picture at the right. I can just imagine the pungent smell in the area judging from the looks of that guy in white. It was a dreadful time of the whole country. :((
Swimming at the Hotel's rooftop swimming pool.. do I look like an angel now?!
